Why not beat the heat in style? This mountain home on the west shore of Lake Tahoe went from ho hum to a happy merge of mountain + modern. The original one cook galley kitchen expanded by nearly 140 sq ft to include an 11' island and a casual breakfast nook for mountain gazing and nighttime game playing. Other additions included a full new bathroom and bedroom; a laundry room converted into a wet bar and each bathroom remodeled with a lake theme in mind.
